Hot 97 radio veteran Mister Cee came through on a weekend promise made by the station today (May 6) by coming forward to speak on his bust last week on a prostitution charge and revealing his sexuality.
Cee appeared on Monday’s “Cipha Sounds & Rosenberg” morning show to set the record straight.

Mogul Etiquette 101: How To Listen To Music
Music is an integral part of our society. Nearly everyone is enthusiastic about a particular genre, singer, band, or composer. As an individual you will have your picks, but do you really know how to listen to music? Are you able to appreciate and hear the many wonderful offerings that the world has to offer? When the symphony comes to town, do you buy tickets? When was the last time you saw a musical, or an opera for that matter? Bottom line is…Moguls should be cultured, open minded, and versatile in order to take advantage of all the opportunities life has to offer. The following rule will help you to intellectualize your musical experience a bit, but also add some enjoyment to old favorites you’ve listened to a million times. The rule is simply:
Listen to every voice as if it were an instrument, and listen to every instrument as if it were a voice.
You can enhance this by closing your eyes, purchasing a good set of headphones, and sometimes by just turning up the volume. Now, this may not enhance your journey through 50 Cent’s Greatest Hits…but I guarantee it will shed a new perspective on those old Motown hits that feature full symphony orchestras in the back ground, listening to a song in another language, or trying to digest those old jazz standards that always seemed to put you to sleep. Rick Ross Targeted On His Birthday In Drive By Shooting..
Rapper Rick Ross was out celebrating his 37th birthday at a Fort Lauderdale, Fla., diner early Monday morning when he became the alleged target of a drive-by shooting.
Police say Ross and his girlfriend were leaving the 24-hour diner The Floridian at around 5 a.m., after eating a late meal, when someone unloaded close to two dozen bullets into Ross’ gray Rolls Royce.
Ross reportedly tried to flee the shooting, but ended up crashing his car into an apartment near 15th Avenue and Las Olas Boulevard. Continue reading

ATL rapper Shawty Lo is pleading his case with anyone who will listen, specifically the Oxygen network, to give his currently shelved “All My Babies’ Mamas” television special another chance.
According to Shawty Lo, people have made their assumptions simply off an extensive trailer and not seen what the show really has to offer.
“Yeah I really understand. They have the right to think that, but at least give the show a chance, to see what’s goin’ on,” Shawty said in an interview in response to the show’s backlash. “They makin’ their assumptions off a 13-minute trailer and this like the biggest news around the world right now and it’s unbelievable. … The show wasn’t about, we finna be fightin’.
