Kelly Rowland sung the National Anthem at the Mayweather fight Saturday night. How did she do?
I know Nas probably has those Queensbridge hands and all, but don’t Wesley have a black belt or something? May have not turned out in your favor God’s Son.
Amber Rose stopped by New York’s Hot 97 to speak on a few things, including who would win between Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa. There is no question who she is rolling with. Is it?
When you mix Born Day week with a slow week, you get a Danny P Ocean that is still partying it up. But all things come to an end, and one must get back on the grind. And what better way than with Ray J. He and Fabolous’ scuffle is still going on strong in the blog world, and Ray J wants us to know he isn’t proud of it!! Neither are we Ray J.
If you have a few minutes to spare, check out Katt Williams getting in a lil tit for tat last night at the Young Jeezy concert at the Celebrity Theater in Phoenix. Lil homie got so upset that he took off his shirt and flexed for the crowd. All we can say is
I don’t know what’s worse, getting beat up by a bunch of Chinese basketball players. Or going to China and getting your butt kicked by a bunch of Chinese players. The Georgetown Hoyas got a little more than they bargained for when a friendly exhibition with China’s Bayi Rockets at the Beijing Olympic Basketball Arena quickly got out of hand.
A bench-clearing brawl at an exhibition game between American and Chinese basketball teams has marred U.S. Vice President Joe Biden’s relationship-building visit to China.
The incredible fight between the Georgetown University men’s basketball team and the Bayi Rockets forced the game on Thursday night in Beijing to end early.
Players exchanged blows, chairs were thrown and spectators tossed full water bottles as players and coaches headed to the locker room. Georgetown are in the country on a goodwill tour.
On Wednesday, Mr Biden watched the Georgetown Hoyas play another Chinese team. Mr Biden did not attend Thursday’s game.
Georgetown head coach John Thompson III said in a statement: “Tonight two great team played a very competitive game that unfortunately ended after heated exchanges with both teams. We sincerely regret that this situation occurred.”
Mr. Thompson pulled his players off the court with nine minutes 32 seconds left in the game and the scored tied at 64, the Washington Post reported, after a chaotic scene in which members of both teams began throwing punches and tackling one another.
Immediately before the fighting began, Bayi forward-centre Hu Ke was called for a foul against Georgetown’s Jason Clark, the Washington Post reported.
The senior guard took exception to the hard foul and said as much to Hu, triggering an exchange of shoves between the two.
That sparked the bedlam which ensued as players from both benches ran onto the court.
Georgetown senior centre Henry Sims had a chair tossed at him by an unidentified person, and freshman forward Moses Ayegba, walked onto the court with a chair in his right hand.
According to Georgetown officials, Ayegba had been struck, prompting him to grab a chair in self-defence.
Before anyone was seriously hurt, Thompson said, “We’re outta here,” the Washington Post reported, and pointed toward the tunnel.
Fearful of reprisals from Chinese fans, members of the Georgetown staff were trying to find a police escort for the entire contingent, including alumni and supporters who attended the game as part of a 10-day tour of China.
But rather than wait, Mr Thompson told everyone to walk to the buses together.
We live in a world where the right to do, act, and believe whatever we want is fought for by men and women that think enough of the cause…and their country to put their lives on the line. The least you could do is appreciate it. I hope your Memorial Day was included time to remember those that fought for the rights you enjoy…
It is the
not the preacher,
who has given us freedom of religion.
not the reporter,
who has given us freedom of the press.
not the poet,
who has given us freedom of speech.
not the campus organizer,
who has given us freedom to assemble.
not the lawyer,
who has given us the right to a fair trial.
not the politician,
Who has given us the right to vote.
So who you with for the fight tomorrow? Manny or Shane?
I am not a soccer fan, or should I say futbol?? However I understand the global importance of the sport and respect it. And I know that in the United States soccer takes a back seat to the NFL, MLB, and/or NBA. But if this what they do a t soccer games maybe we shouldn’t partake.
In both videos you see soccer fans at the Mexico and Venezuela match at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego get it on!!! The first video is so hyped that a fan took a nasty spill down the seats. While the second one features two women in a hair pulling match. So I am left with the question, is this how it is at soccer games?? Damn!!! This isn’t the first time I have heard of fans fighting during/after matches, these dudes get it in for their country/team. But can you imagine if US fans would act up like this??? Someone would fool around and get shot!!!!
Now my Ma Dukes and Old Earth told me plenty of times, know your place and stay in it. Apparently Shobul Johnson didn’t get the memo from his elders. Johnson an algebra teacher at Aberdeen High School, challenged his student Jamerson Love to a wrestling match. He told the class to black out the windows and move out the way, the outcome unfortunately was not in his favor. Love who is a star football player quickly snatched up Johnson and slammed him in front of the class while the camera was rolling. Quickly giving his class the funny of the year!!!
Johnson lost his job, after the school found out about this WrestleMania match. Was it worth it Shobul Johnson? Remember in the future Shobul, just because you have age and experience doesn’t mean you can win a tussle with your students. These young dudes can get beastly.
Some of us lucky Moguls may experience traveling to a different time zone. Even the best of us get tired from a little jet lag. So to avoid being caught sleeping when you should be tossing back a few cold ones UML has put together a simple little outline to get you ready for your next trip.
- Before you take flight, set your watch to the local time of your destination and try to eat and sleep at the proper times. The quicker you prepare, the easier the adjustment will be. Remember you have to beat your internal clock, so you need to begin fooling it quickly.
- While in flight try to sleep if it is night where you are going. Don’t try to knock yourself out with drugs or sips, it may actually cause you to be sluggish when you arise. Once it is daytime at your destination try to get as much natural sunlight as possible. The more the better, plus it will help adjust your natural body clock.
- When you land try not to nap, get out and do what you got to do. This will help and ensure that you are tired once bedtime arrives.
- When you wake up in the morning exercise. It will get the blood flowing which help ease any jet lag caused sleepiness.
- Remember to send us a shot glass from your destination. It will make you feel better and you will give to a great cause. You might be able to write it off on your taxes!!
So you are riding the bus and you see someone recording your words with an old head. Should you decide to show out? Or should you realize that this is an older gentleman and maybe you should fall back.
Well home-child decided to get beastly with Santa during the off-season, and the result is rather humbling! Young dude got his ass handed to him from Saint Nick for the world to see. I guess it is safe to assume that he won’t get a thing for Christmas this year. Unless of course he gets a pass for being stupid and running up to get beat down.
I bet he won’t show out for anyone else! LOL!
In dedication to the fool….
So the March 13th, 2010 party at AK’s may not happen after all? No poker, JJ Wings, Beer, and cigar smokes?? All because of a drug test? What you mean you not taking an Olympic style drug test Pacquiao? You would pass up a $45 million payday because of a fear of needles? You lying to us right? You must be trying to hype it up just a little more. I don’t understand! Maybe I am greedy. Maybe I am just thinking of my on selfish plans, shame on me! But I was looking forward to the possibly one of the biggest fights that’s not a heavyweight since Sugar Ray vs. Marvelous!! Now my big night looks to be ruined!
I don’t know about you all, but I would do a whole lot of things that I don’t like for $45 million. And taking a drug test is one of them. It looks to me like somebody didn’t want to fight after all. Either Mayweather for making such a demanding request, or Pacquiao for not wanting to be exposed. Something ain’t right, and now it looks like my March Madness Night may be ruined!!! Thanks needles!
I am fan of LeBron just like the next man. Well should I say some of you. BUT I will admit the dancing is getting a little old real quick. It was cool the first time I saw him do it, but after getting knocked out by Orlando last season the warm fuzzies disappeared. And it wasn’t so much of the fact that Cleveland lost, we all catch a L at times. But when he paraded off the court without shaking Dwight Howard’s hand, I sat watching with a bad taste in my mouth. It led me back to when Chicago eliminated Detroit in 91, and Isiah’s punk @$$ walked right in front of the Bulls bench with his head all slouched low and didn’t shake their hands. I hated the action, but yet it tickled me at the same time. How can you dish it up but not grab a plate for yourself??
