Rarely do we hear a song or a poem in which Love is depicted as an integrated spiritual experience…I guess that’s why it’s good to have cats like K.B. around. If you’ve ever been in Love, then you’ve had a struggle in Love. This song is about getting through that. Try something new Moguls…I guarantee you’ll like it.
This is actually my lifelong choice for the smoothest song ever laid down…but it’s a hell of a love song too. You can also put it on your eternal summer play list. It’s always appropriate…

When you get home tonight and have a chance to sit down for your evening dose of UML…you’ve gotta peep this video. It’s a classic LOVE song. The video is sexy as hell…which does nothing but add to its flavor. The video features both artists, Timothy Bloom and V.Bozeman, standing in a gentle embrace while slowly revolving on a platform. As they gaze intimately into each others eyes and sing their perspective parts, they gently caress each other’s naked skin. To hear me tell it, it may sound like some second-rate porno…but I assure you it is not. It’s actually a very sexy and tasteful exploration of just one of the many aspects of Love. A must see for any Mogul…

Somewhere along the way in the music industry, the idea of a “Good” Love Song went from “you are my heaven”….to “you remind me of a jeep”. I know I’m aging and all, but if I should ever, in an attempt to get a woman’s “attention”, tell her that she reminds me of a rugged 4-wheel drive automobile with a fresh set of mud-tires….it is safe to assume that I’ve traded my Mogul status for some other pathetic form of existence not worth mentioning.

Damn that little boy could sing.
I know this one will fly over the heads of some of our regular visitors…but this feature is all about the LOVE. The story for this one goes like this:
Stevie Ray Vaughn(SRV), not yet a guitar legend, was browsing a pawn shop with the love of his life, his wife Lenora. His gaze fell upon a used 1965 maple-neck Fender Stratocaster with a rosewood fingerboard and original pickups. Now, that may sound like gibberish to those of us with no musical knowledge, but to Stevie…it spelled L-O-V-E; and Lenora knew from the look in his eyes. Money wasn’t exactly free-flowing for the young couple, so the $350.00 price tag seemed a little steep at the time; but alas…LOVE does make a way. Lenora found seven people with $50.00, purchased and gave the guitar to SRV on October 3, 1980…his 26th birthday. That night, while she slept, Stevie wrote this beautifully melodic tune. The song, and the guitar, would be called “Lenny“…short for Lenora of course. He played it for her when she awoke he next morning. His wife would never hear the song played without crying.
