These words are both beautiful & encouraging … most mothers have a phenomenal way of passing such sage advice on to their daughters and such; however, these are the words of an educator-humorist written for HIS grandchild. Too often, the need for a nurturing word from a father or grandfather is left only to be filled by the womanly wisdom & guidance of Momma & Big’Momma. Which are PRICELESS and IRREPLACEABLE!!! In light of Father’s Day, which is sometimes a passing thought in the month of June, I would like to acknowledge fathers (in all capacities) that truly do pass these words on to their baby girls.  Dads can be more powerful that one might think. Due to the void of fathers’ direct guidance, today’s society has somewhat discounted the importance of fatherly input. Young women will always benefit from the positive support that fathers can give to round out a strong sense of self that mothers so eloquently put into motion!  Much Love to the daddies that have been there from day1 … Kudos to the dads by default that ‘stepped’ in for the greater good … High5 to the uncles, brothers & cousins that never fail to look out … Respect to all MEN who truly know what it means to be a father to all children and do just that!

For several days in late May and early June, he and a rotating group of intimates, collaborators and hangers-on were holed up in service of finishing “Yeezus” (Roc-A-Fella/Def Jam), Mr. West’s sixth solo album, out Tuesday, and one that marks a turn away from his reliable maximalism to something more urgent and visceral.

The original studios were built under the supervision of Bob Dylan and the Band in the 1970s — some of “The Last Waltz” was filmed here — and the property was bought in 2011 by the producer Rick Rubin, the man whose brain Mr. West had come here to pick. Together, they sandpapered off the album’s rough edges, rerecording vocals and sometimes writing entire new verses. Even as the deadline loomed, Mr. West made room for an appearance at the baby shower for his girlfriend, Kim Kardashian, who’s expecting their first child. As the days passed, the songs noticeably morphed, becoming more skeletal and ferocious.

The lovely Bria Murphy appeared on Good Morning America and shed some light on how models stay so thin.

“I’ve heard of people eating the cotton balls with the orange juice … they dip it in the orange juice and then they eat the cotton balls to help them feel full, because the cotton’s not doing anything. It’s just dissolving. And it makes you think you’re full, but you’re not,”.

Wow, I never heard of that tactic. But for some reason it doesn’t surprise me.
