Hip Hop You Need In Your Life According To Jank
Written by Urban Mogul Life on January 16, 2015
I am so sick of hearing people complain about there being “no good music” out. This is far from the truth. The problem, is that there is too much music to choose from. The over-saturation of music, caused by the internets, has made it either hard to find the specific type of music you like or completely overwhelming to even search. That’s why I exist. I pillage the internet so that you don’t have to. That said, lets take a look at a few hip hop joints that I’ve been keeping to myself like the ring in “The Hobbit”.
Tay Butler + Haz Solo – Silkies & House Shoes 2
Rough, rugged and raw; that’s the best way to describe ‘Silkies 2’. They merge the new school and golden era sounds with lyrics that will make you lose your mind.
Diamond District – March On Washington Redux
The original was great, with production by Oddisee, but remixes by the likes of Black Milk, Diamond D and Large Pro make it a whole other monster.
Fashawn & Alchemist – FASH-ionably Late
One of my top 5 producers, Alchemist, never looses when he teams with the hottest cats in the industry. Fashawn has been in our ears for a minute but his time to blow is upon us.
