A few weeks ago it looked like Sony had struck out when it pulled The Interview from it’s Christmas release in theatres. However, Sony has turned lemons into lemonade. The Interview is Sony Film’s most successful online film ever. In less than a week the film has pulled in $15 million USD in online rentals and purchases. Not bad. Now could this mean that more films will go straight to video in the future?
