Phonte Speaks On The King of Pop’s Memory

Written by on August 30, 2010

I took another step into the modern world yesterday and joined Twitter.  Not because I have a high level of interest in telling the world where I am and what the hell I’m doing all the time, but because this UML thing is reaching people, and I’d be a fool not to use every reasonable tool to further its reach and appeal.  So naturally, I’ve been takin’ some time to do a couple of things:

  1. Find the best info and resources Twitter has to offer, and
  2. Figure out how to work the damn thing

In regards to #1, yesterday marked what would have been Michael Jackson’s 52nd birthday.  It was wonderful to see the outpourings of Love and appreciation for someone, I too, hold in high regard.  I was lucky enough to stumble across a BlogPost by Phonte of Little Brother and Foreign Exchange.  It’s an older post but highly relevant.  In the post, Phonte both defends and justifies the memory of Michael Jackson, and clarifies his significance for those who may be unclear.  I meant to post this yesterday, but it’s a good read on any day:
