Shawn Knowles-Carter??????

I don’t know if I believe this or not, but the Carters are rumored to merge their last names together. Jay-Z will add the Knowles to his name and Beyoncé will place Carter after hers. If this is true I am smdh!!! Did someone get their pass revoked?

I mean I know I would like to be called Mr. Beyoncé Knowles. That would be heaven in a cup! But as long as it is in the bedroom or at least around the property then I am cool with it. Just don’t pull it out at the mall or at the restaurant. Mr. Ocean is the only option.

This situation (if true) reminds me of John & Yoko. John as love-struck as he was, officially changed his middle name to Ono to signify to merger with Yoko One. No hyphen though, middle name only. But to add the last name of your wife is a new one. I can see adding the double name to any kids the two may have, plenty parents do that. But to rename yourself, I don’t know?

I know rappers who are waiting in the wings to diss will have a field day with this (i.e. Beans, Fif, Jim Jones, etc.)

Once again this is rumor, and we don’t subscribe to this things usually, but it is a situation to make you think. How many Moguls out there would do this? Would you add-on your wife’s last name? Ladies would you ask your husband to do this?
